Head of Underwriting Management - London Market
I’m working on an exciting senior leadership opportunity for an experienced underwriting professional to lead an Underwriting Management Team within a well established London Market insurer.
You’ll lead a high-performing team, influence senior stakeholders, strengthen underwriting standards and drive initiatives that support profitable growth and operational excellence.
The Role:
Leading, developing and empowering the Underwriting Management Team.
Enhancing underwriting governance, control frameworks and adherence to Lloyd’s Minimum Standards.
Providing oversight of peer reviews, pricing governance and underwriting performance.
Partnering with senior underwriting leaders to support strategic planning and commercial decision-making.
Building strong relationships with Lloyd’s and key internal stakeholders.
Driving improvements across underwriting operations, MI, reporting and data quality.
Ideal Candidate:
Extensive Lloyd’s and/or London Market experience.
Proven senior-level leadership and people management experience.
Strong technical knowledge of underwriting governance, risk and controls.
The ability to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
ACII or an equivalent professional qualification.
