Rare opportunity for a highly numeric A'level leaver or Graduate to enter the exciting London market insurance industry.
You will support a successful team of brokers within casualty as a broker assistant dealing with:
- Complex financial analysis
- Building technical models to support statistical interrogation and review
- Reviewing large volumes of statistical data to identify trends and movement within the market
- Using excel to advanced level plus insurance specific technology to build IT capability
- Writing formulae and coding
- Reviewing broker performance and tracking income
- Identifying trends and patterns and building framework to monitor this
This role is ideal for someone with a high level of statistical and maths capability proven by academic achievements. If you are an A'level leaver you will need a min A in Maths, if a graduate you should have a min 2:1 in a maths related degree.
You will need advanced excel and the ability to both code and read code.
As well as your strong numeric skills you will also need good communication skills and the ability to communicate complex numeric data to others less numeric than yourself.
