I am looking for a Business Continuity Manager to join a successful insurance company in the City of London. You will be based in the facilities department in London and will assist with the development and execution of strategies within North America, EMEA & APAC regions. Ideally you will have Business continuity designation/certification from the BCI or DRI!
THE ROLE:
- Implement processes, procedures and systems that will ensure that the company’s continuity capabilities remain in compliance with all laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Aid in the development, execution and maintenance of business continuity documents including business impact analysis and office risk assessments.
- Support business recovery, crisis management, and disaster-preparedness planning within the organization.
- Disseminate information on business continuity processes, standards, and initiatives to the BC team, communicating results to leadership.
- Validating, testing, and identifying gaps in business continuity strategies and communicating results to leadership.
- Lead the coordination of business continuity metrics including exercises and testing of the mass notification system.
- Provide support to the BC team throughout live events that impact the business continuity plan.
- Engage and mentor BC Analysts to accomplish all BC deliverables by Region (MAS requirements in Singapore, Op Res requirements in London, regulatory reviews in NYC).
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in a BC Manager or related role.
- Proven experience in developing, implementing and testing comprehensive resilience strategies and disaster recovery skills.
- Ability to capture interim deliverables against longer-term strategic planning.
- Oversight of third-party risk management and due diligence, incl. involvement in third-party onboarding.
- Review lessons learned on the back of testing exercises to identify maturity opportunities and track/remediate those towards resolution.
- Experience with crisis/incident management.
- Good understanding BCM standards and IT DR.
- Familiarity with Operational Resilience regulations (PRA, DORA).
- Experience using SharePoint or other document repositories.
- Experience working with mass notification system platforms (AlertFind, Mobile Park, Everbridge, etc.) and business continuity software (Fusion Risk Management, CAMMS, RPX Platform, etc.).
