We are currently seeking a Business Continuity Analyst to join a leading insurance firm based in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and experienced Business Continuity Team, working closely with stakeholders in both the UK and the USA to strengthen the organisation’s resilience and response capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation, execution, and maintenance of Business Continuity (BC) documentation, including Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and office risk assessments.
- Support business recovery, crisis management, and disaster preparedness initiatives.
- Help coordinate and run business continuity exercises and mass notification system testing.
- Contribute to BC awareness and training efforts, including onboarding new local crisis management team members.
- Disseminate updates and best practices related to BC policies and procedures.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in a Business Continuity, Crisis/Incident Management, or IT Disaster Recovery role.
- Hands-on experience with mass notification systems such as AlertFind, Send Word Now, Everbridge.
- Familiarity with BC management software such as Fusion, Cobalt, LDRPS, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of BCM standards (e.g., ISO 22301); CBCP certification a plus.
- Confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills and ability to engage with stakeholders across the business.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Power BI is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
