We are looking for LGV Class 1 Drivers to support our operations based out of South Ockendon, Thurrock, Essex. All shifts operate on a 5 days out of 7 rota which includes weekends (2 in 10 full weekends). The shifts start between 10:00 and 17:30, totalling 42 hours per week.

Base salary of £18.06 per hour plus 11% London weighting (c£43,300). We also pay additional premium rates, weekly overtime x1.3 and rest day working of x1.5 plus you’ll be part of our Driver bonus scheme.

What you'll take on:

You’ll be a part of our critical operation transporting clothing and homeware products to our stores in the South East along with some trunk runs. Our Drivers should demonstrate a ‘Safety First’ approach, where nothing is placed over the safety of yourself, the public or your colleagues.

What you'll bring:

We are looking for Class 1 C+E license holders with a CPC card and a minimum of 1 year HGV driving experience and a maximum of 6 points on license with no penalty points or convictions. Successful applicants will receive 2 days of training from a Driver Development Coach (DDC) and will be aligned to a Manager to provide any additional support required outside of their training alongside any support provided by the DDC.

Weekend premiums:

  • Saturday - £3.00 per hour
  • Sunday - £5.00 per hour

Night rate:

  • Sunday - Thursday - £3.00 per hour
  • Friday - £5.00 per hour
  • Saturday - £7.55 per hour (until 30/09/26)

London weighting - 11%.
