The Role
Next is looking for a dynamic Shoot Coordinator to join our wider Shoot Production team, focusing specifically on our vibrant Kidswear department. Working alongside the Creation Team and reporting directly to the Shoot Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our brand, retail, and online campaigns to life. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on opportunity where you will coordinate all aspects of national and international photoshoots from scouting fresh talent and locations to managing budgets, securing child licensing, and collaborating closely with art directors, photographers, and global production partners. If you thrive on variety, love working as part of a creative team, and are ready to attend and support the shoots you’ve built from the ground up, we want to hear from you.
Hybrid Working Model
This role offers a vibrant hybrid working model, involving time at Alfred Place in Central London and our Premier Park Studios in North West London alongside the flexibility to work from home.
What You’ll Take On
- Organise and coordinate both national and international photo shoots for Brand, Retail Stores, and Online.
- Cast child models, build strong working relationships with talent agents, and manage the end‑to‑end process of obtaining necessary licences for the children and their agents.
- Liaise closely with Art Directors and Photographers on the creative direction of each shoot brief, and partner with international production companies for overseas shoot productions.
- Attend most of the shoots you have organised to ensure seamless execution on the day.
- Provide vital support to the Kids Senior Shoot Producer and Kids Shoot Producer.
- Work within tight timescales to meet strict set budgets and industry regulations.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect and collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in planning, workload management, and organising multiple concurrent projects across several teams within strict deadlines.
- Confidence in planning, monitoring, and working within budgets, backed by exceptional negotiation and practical decision‑making skills.
- Creative flair and knowledge, with the ability to produce innovative ideas, problem‑solve, and quickly absorb the Next brand image.
- A strong team‑player mindset thrives in a fast‑paced environment, with the flexibility to attend and support varying shoots across the UK and overseas.
- A keen interest in fashion and previous experience in a similar creative environment is highly desirable. However, if you haven’t worked in this exact environment before but can demonstrate the transferable skills and drive to succeed in this role, we would still love to hear from you!
