The role involves working in our fast-paced Stadium 2 warehouse with leading technologies in warehousing and logistics. Our Maintenance Assistants will work alongside a team of apprentice-trained engineers, maintaining state-of-the-art systems to ensure a smooth flow through the Warehouse. The position is a 42-hour average working 12-hour day and night shifts (including weekends).

What you'll take on:

  • Work closely with the Maintenance Engineers and Site Maintenance Managers on repairs and breakdowns.
  • Follow Health & Safety requirements at all times.
  • Use the correct PPE provided when carrying out tasks.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and clear blockages and jams.
  • Cleaning of all equipment following approved company methods.
  • Carry out routine tasks on ancillary equipment and monitor system performance.
  • Complete paperwork and hand to Site Maintenance Engineer.

What you'll bring:

  • The ability to prioritise and manage own workload, with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Be a real team player with a proven ability to take ownership for tasks and situations.
  • Have a proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work flexibly.
  • Experience working in an automated warehouse would be an advantage.
  • Willingness to follow instructions.
  • Computer literate.
