As an Oracle HCM Developer at Next, you will play a vital role in evolving our people systems to support a large, dynamic workforce. Reporting to the Team Leader for WFM & Payroll, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of developers to translate complex business requirements into seamless digital solutions. Whether you are delivering enhancements to our existing setup or solving intricate configuration challenges, your work ensures our HR technology remains first-class.

What you'll take on:

  • Configure and maintain the Oracle SaaS environment to meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead on Absence Management, providing expert support and delivering enhancements for this specific module.
  • Solve complex problems by resolving incidents via ServiceNow and identifying fixes within the Oracle solution.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement new features and represent Next on Oracle’s Customer Connect Portal.
  • Manage your workflow by keeping Azure DevOps (ADO) user stories and tasks updated with precision.
  • Create detailed documentation and training materials to help others understand and use the system effectively.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience configuring Oracle Cloud HCM is essential, with specific experience in the Absence Management module.
  • The ability to clearly articulate messages to different audiences and constructively challenge requirements to find the best solution.
  • You enjoy problem-solving and can remain self-motivated while juggling multiple, changing priorities.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • A keen interest in AI implementation and a desire to learn new skills to resolve technical challenges.
  • A "can-do" attitude and a preference for working in the office (at least 3 days a week) to foster team spirit and customer connection.
