Step into the role of Womenswear Buyer - 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Discover an exciting opportunity to take on an integral role here at Joules Head Office working within the Womenswear Buying team on a maternity cover basis. This will involve pulling together multiple product ranges as well as running the Womenswear department.

Working Pattern

This is a full time role based at ‘The Barn’ - Joules’ purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. The typical hours for this role are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and this is an onsite role.

Market Harborough in Leicestershire, is where Joules began in 1989. This market town is home to the brand’s Head Office and is full of independent shops, bars and restaurants. It also benefits from good transport links to London, making it easily accessible for visitors and commuters alike.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare to be part of a dynamic, hard-working, collaborative and inspirational team, creating and bringing product to market season after season for our iconic British brand.
  • Create commercially successful ranges and maximise sales.
  • Plan the range, taking into account analysis and price architecture.
  • Analyse sales data, acting quickly to identify and introduce changes.
  • Effectively manage your team, delegating resources and workload while ensuring team members are motivated and focused to get the very best from our Buying team.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers, defining business plans for mutual growth and to leverage relationships.
  • Interpret the impact of shifting micro and macro influences to manage risk.
  • Ensure all documentation and data is accurate in order to meet the required standards and understand the impact of inaccuracies.
  • Focus on the bottom line and understand the impact of all decisions on the business.
