We're looking for a Team Leader to join our HR Technology team, based from the NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire!
The Role:
As a Team Leader in our HR Technology team, you will lead and empower a dedicated team within our 1st and 2nd line support functions to drive technical excellence and support key operational projects. Working closely with Product Development Managers and Test Managers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping team performance, managing day-to-day project delivery, and championing the ongoing development of your team members. You will directly manage up to 10 UK-based colleagues with potential indirect oversight of offshore resource. We support your success with a structured onboarding process and clear development pathways.
What You’ll Take On:
- Guide and develop your team: Conduct regular 1-to-1s and performance appraisals, creating a clear learning environment for up to 10 UK-based colleagues, alongside potential indirect oversight of offshore resources.
- Manage project workflows: Coordinate resources, resolve operational challenges, and maintain clear alignment between technical teams and key business stakeholders.
- Step up during critical moments: Act as an escalation point for support and major operational events, stepping in for senior management when required.
- Uphold quality standards: Maintain thorough documentation across incident management, change records, problem records, and P1 incident handling.
- Build future talent: Partner with our recruitment teams to attract, interview, and onboard technical talent into the business.
