About the role:

At Next we have a great opportunity for a Recycling Operative to join our busy Facilities department at our Next Head Office in Leicestershire. You will play an essential role in the day to day upkeep of the site internally and externally. In this position you will be supporting the Recycling Supervisor in keeping the site to its highest standard of cleanliness.

Main Tasks:

  • Ensure all bins in the areas you are required to work are kept clean and empty throughout the day and all slop bins are emptied and cleaned daily.
  • Baling Cardboard throughout the day.
  • Putting paper through the compactor.
  • Keeping the recycling yard clean and tidy at all times.
  • Operate safely ensuring our H&S policies/procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work are always adhered to.
  • Ensure general housekeeping is maintained to a high level.
  • Encourage a positive work environment and culture for all employees.
  • Provide solutions, continuous improvements, and innovations.
  • Carry out all duties required in the recycling department.
  • Ensure waste is segregated correctly and we are achieving a high standard of waste disposal.

About you:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Basic understanding of computers in order to complete mandatory training.
