The Role: As a Product Delivery Manager (PDM) within our Mobile Apps Product group, you will work with a dedicated development squad to drive the delivery of our customer-facing mobile applications. Our Online Shopping apps are at the heart of our business, driving over 50% of our online trade across 70 international markets and serving millions of active customers with a highly personalised shopping experience.

What You’ll Take On: In this role, you will drive end-to-end delivery, ensuring our mobile applications provide exceptional value to our customers and the business. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Team Management & Leadership: Guide a cross-functional team of iOS/Android developers and QA engineers by setting clear sprint goals, managing resource allocation, and fostering a collaborative, proactive environment.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the primary delivery partner for Product Owners, UX designers, and eCommerce leadership. You will translate technical complexities into clear, actionable business decisions.
  • Agile Governance & Delivery: Manage project budgets, document dependencies, and proactively mitigate release risks to ensure smooth deployment pipelines. You will champion the delivery of high-quality MVP software in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Product Health & Excellence: Embed the engineering philosophy of “We build it, We release it, We own it”. Work with the team to ensure robust quality gates are met.

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • IT Project Management: Proven experience driving software delivery, ideally managing enterprise-level, customer-facing mobile applications.
  • Mobile Ecosystem Familiarity: An understanding of native Mobile App ecosystems, like Xcode IDE, and modern frameworks like SwiftUI.
  • Agile Expertise: A solid grasp of core Agile principles (Scrum/Kanban) with experience managing backlogs and reporting project status.
  • Communication & Facilitation: The ability to make complex mobile architectures sound simple.
  • Collaborative Problem Solving: A proactive approach to teamwork, showing resilience during peak seasonal retail periods.

Desirable Skills (Nice to Have):

  • CI/CD & Automation: Experience working with Git, ADO pipelines, and automated mobile testing frameworks.
  • Accessibility & Deep-linking: A passion for inclusive design, including familiarity with Apple's Accessibility Framework.
  • Cross-Platform Awareness: Knowledge of Android development using Kotlin/Compose is advantageous.
  • AI & Emerging Tech: Knowledge of emerging AI innovations.
