This is an incredible opportunity to shape internal communications at NEXT. Joining our expanding Employer Brand team, you will lead and develop the internal communication strategy and messaging, ensuring our values and goals are delivered clearly across both our Head Office and retail populations.

Reporting directly to the Employer Brand & Social Media Manager, this role offers a high level of impact, a dedicated team to manage, and the scope to collaborate with stakeholders across HR, broader communication teams, and at Director level.

What You Will Take On

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a dedicated internal communications team to develop their potential.
  • Optimise, maintain, and expand our current internal channels, including the intranet and all communication platforms under Life at NEXT.
  • Create clear, effective digital and traditional resources and campaigns to engage, support, and inform our retail and Head Office teams.
  • Champion and support internal people networks by driving their communication strategies and coordinating corporate events.
  • Plan and execute high-quality, engaging events tailored for both Head Office staff and retail populations.
  • Maintain structured, regular communications to keep key stakeholders informed of upcoming campaigns.

What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience managing, developing, and mentoring an internal communications or engagement team.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, deliver, and manage large-scale corporate communication campaigns and complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional copy-writing, proofreading, and verbal or digital presentation capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of collaborating with senior stakeholders.
  • Foundational knowledge of Employer Branding principles, Google Analytics, Google Workspace tools, or basic Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
