Based at Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire. Working Pattern: 5 days a week onsite, with some flexibility once embedded into the role. Core hours between 8am to 6pm.

We sell thousands of items an hour and our repeat customer base comes back to us time and time again for our renowned quality products! Our Fabric Technology teams work hard to ensure the quality of our Next product is always of the highest standard. Working alongside the Designers, Buyers, Merchandisers and Garment Technologists. The tailoring product department within Menswear is extensive and exciting and perfect for the right candidate. Travelling to factories/mills/laundries, sourcing fabric and yarns along with developing and elevating quality is key here at Next within the Menswear team. We are looking for someone with great knowledge and proven experience of yarn, fibres and fabric technology for this role. Innovation is what we strive for here at Next and this fantastic area offers up some great opportunities for this. Working with suppliers and driving fabric developments and setting and reviewing standards is a key part of the role. Working as an integral member of the product team, you will help to guide any decisions in line with the legal requirements and within Next guidelines.
About You: As a senior level team player; you will have great people skills and love to work collaboratively but also using your own skill set. Using your extensive technical experience and exceptional eye for technical detail, you will be working on great product areas. Utilising your qualifications and extensive experience within fabric technology; you will communicate effectively within a multi-functional team. You’ll be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of fabric including performance knowledge. Experience in tailoring/mix and match product is very desirable.
