We are looking for an eCommerce Marketing/Trading Manager to join our eCommerce Trading team looking after NEXT Womenswear Clothing. Based from NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire!
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between product and customer, bringing our collections to life on next.co.uk and championing the customer for your product division. You will work closely with different teams across eCommerce, product and the wider business - using these great relationships to drive forward marketing on Womenswear - always ensuring everything we do is commercial.
What You’ll Take On:
- Leading marketing for your division such on all owned channel marketing such as Emails, Push Notifications and Womenswear page messaging.
- Own the marketing plan for your division, staying ahead of trends and using sales and product insight to make commercial decisions.
- Work with paid marketing team to ensure the correct categories and products are featured in our paid advertising and adhering to brand guidelines.
- Work with the social media team to provide valuable insights into womenswear trading and trending opportunities to drive sessions to next.co.uk through social media marketing.
- Be responsive to trade each week, amending relevant marketing and onsite exposure where necessary.
- Use reporting and analytics to track performance and highlight opportunities where we could improve.
- Use web and trade analytics to deliver the best customer experience on site, monitoring customer shopping habits and ensuring key product trends are called out on the website.
- Drive sales; know what is working and what isn't - use product knowledge to drive new ideas, tests and initiatives to grow sales both on the next website and through marketing.
- Work with other product marketing leads to deliver business messages and ensure key campaign moments are marketed consistently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the Next Online department and the wider business including brand marketing teams and product buying and merchandising teams.
- Support the wider international eCommerce business where relevant with key product opportunities.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience working within an eCommerce department.
- An individual who can demonstrate passion for product - a keen interest in Womenswear is essential.
- Be great at building relationships - an essential part of this role is working with stakeholders around the business.
- Competent at presenting to all levels including senior management.
- Great trade knowledge and commerciality - be comfortable with web metrics and interpreting data to provide actionable insights.
- A great eye for design and attention to detail - you are the gate keeper of Womenswear marketing - looking to inspire customers and elevate the brand.
- Knowledge of understanding customers and how to target them.
- Be a champion of testing and new idea generation, helping to feed in new development ideas.
- Is a team player and can work as part of the Womenswear trade team and also the wider product marketing team.
- Understanding of key competitors and the Womenswear eCommerce landscape.
- An interest in fashion and trends is desirable but not essential.
