We're looking for a Developer to join our CCX team on an 8 month FTC, based from NEXT Head Office in Leicestershire!
The Role:
As a Developer within our CCX Domain, you will play a crucial role in delivering quality software solutions to support NEXT's busy Customer Contact Centre. Working alongside Product Owners, developers, a Lead Developer, and a Project Development Manager in an agile setup, you will turn complex technical specifications into robust, secure, and working code. You will make a tangible difference by driving technical excellence, championing innovative ideas, and mentoring fellow team members. What You’ll Take On:
- Deliver High-Quality Solutions: Write clean, secure, and well-tested code across C#, .NET, SQL Server, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React, following best practices and industry standards.
- Drive Technical Leadership: Design scalable back-end system architectures, shape technical direction, and mentor other developers within the team.
- Own Projects End-to-End: Take full ownership of complex technical projects within an Agile/Scrum environment, proactively identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.
- Estimate and Organise: Provide accurate detailed estimates for large, intricate technical solutions, aligning and coordinating project deliverables to meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Build strong working relationships across business and technical teams, translating complex technical information into clear, accessible concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong practical expertise in C#, .NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, React, Typescript, and cloud environments like Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps/GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools such as Fiddler or Postman.
- A proven track record of designing enterprise IT solutions and integrating interoperability technologies like web services or message-oriented middleware.
- Excellent communication skills, with the natural ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
