The role: We’re looking for a Junior Video Editor to support the creation, adaptation, and management of video content used across the Next business - from online and social platforms to in-store screens nationwide. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their editing career who’s obsessed with detail, understands how video needs to flex across formats, and wants to grow within a fast-paced fashion brand. You’ll work closely with creative, marketing, and digital teams to ensure video content is delivered accurately, on time, and optimised for every channel.
What you’ll take on:
- Editing and resizing video content for multi-channel use, including:
- Website & ecommerce
- Social media platforms
- Paid digital campaigns
- In-store screens and displays
What you'll bring:
- Experience editing video content (commercial, social, or branded — internships and placements welcome)
- Confidence using Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects knowledge is a bonus but not essential)
- A strong understanding of aspect ratios, resolutions, and platform requirements
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple edits, versions, and feedback rounds while maintaining quality and turnaround times
- A sharp eye for detail and consistency
- An interest in fashion, retail, and visual storytelling
- Someone proactive, reliable, and keen to learn
Nice to have:
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills
- Familiarity with in-store or large-format screen content
- Understanding of social video trends and best practices
