The Role: Our Designers here at Next are always looking forward, focusing on trend and pushing the boundaries of what we can offer our fantastic customer base. Working as a key part of the critical path; creating new and innovative designs across Home. Join our dynamic Print & Pattern team, where creativity knows no bounds! As part of this exciting department, you'll play a key role in designing and developing stunning patterns for a wide range of home products, from textiles and hard goods to kids' items, beauty, and gifting. You'll be at the heart of the process, taking ideas from initial trend inspiration to the creation of original artworks, including all-over prints and character design. This is your chance to contribute to a team that shapes the look and feel of beloved products across multiple categories!
What You’ll Take On: In this role, you'll be involved in every step of the design process, from trend research and generating stunning artworks to recolouring vintage pieces and briefing artwork to factories. If you're passionate about print, this is your chance to shine, as you'll be working hands-on with original hand paintings and drawings, bringing them to life through Photoshop to create truly unique patterns. You’ll also play a key role in supporting the Design Team, handling essential tasks like managing department requests, colour matching, archiving fabrics, and logging samples.
