To be an effective Store Manager, you will maximise sales, drive efficiencies and achieve performance targets by leading and inspiring your team to be their best. Every day will be varied, fast paced, challenging but ultimately rewarding. Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire your team to be their best
- Provide an atmosphere where delivering amazing service, achieving performance targets and accurate stock processes is at the core of everything you do, in an environment which is commercial, operationally efficient and safe
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach for all operational and commercial activities alongside the team
- Form part of an area team reporting to the Area Manager, playing a part in the growth and success of the brand by identifying opportunities and adding value
- Ensure communication is up-to-date and accurate at all times in order to meet business needs
Qualifications
- Passion for customers, people and products – energetic approach to work that inspires others and creates a great working atmosphere and team spirit
- Exceptional commercial understanding with the know-how to create a fantastic shopping experience for customers
- Team player who works best in a results-driven, fast-paced and challenging environment, adapting quickly and bringing the rest of the team on board with new objectives
- Excellent communicator, able to work naturally with people at all levels and stay calm and approachable even under pressure
- Confident problem solver, able to make sound business decisions, challenge processes and generate innovative ideas to move the business forward
- Experienced in leading and coaching a high-performing team and effectively dealing with people issues
- Effective multi-tasker capable of planning, organising and prioritising workload
