The Role
Our Fabric Technology teams work hard to ensure the quality of our Next product is always of the highest standard. Working alongside the Designers, Buyers, Merchandisers and Garment Technologists.
What You’ll Take On
Travelling to factories, sourcing fabric & yarns, along with developing and elevating quality is key here at Next within the Womenswear Non-Clothing team. We are looking for someone with great knowledge & proven experience of fabric technology for this role. Innovation is what we strive for here at Next and this fantastic area offers up some great opportunities for this. Working with suppliers to drive fabric developments and to set and review standards is a key part of the role. Working as an integral member of the product team, you will help to guide any decisions in line with the legal and sustainability requirements and within Next guidelines.
What You’ll Bring
As a team player; you will have great people skills and love to work collaboratively using your own skill set. Using your extensive technical experience & exceptional eye for technical detail, you will be able to communicate effectively within a multi functional team. You will be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of fabric including performance knowledge.
