We are partnering with a well‑established and expanding accountancy practice seeking a Tax Supervisor to join their growing team. This role offers exposure to a diverse client base and a broad range of tax work across both individuals and businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing a range of tax returns including personal, partnership, trust, and corporate
- Supporting the completion of additional compliance filings such as P11Ds, PSAs, ATED, Form 42, and EMI40 returns
- Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines and compliance requirements are met
- Acting as a point of contact for clients, handling queries and coordinating submissions to HMRC
- Drafting responses to HMRC correspondence, including enquiries and compliance checks
- Assisting with tax advisory work across areas such as capital allowances, R&D claims, share schemes, HMRC clearances, and SEIS/EIS investments
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and supporting their development
Requirements
- ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years' experience within a practice environment
- Exposure to both personal and corporate tax matters
- Working towards CTA (or interest in studying) would be advantageous
- Strong technical skills with good attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
