Job Description
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Front End / Full Stack Developer to support the development of responsive, interactive web applications for our client a leading tech consultancy. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with a dynamic team of developers on real-world projects. You’ll assist in designing and implementing user interfaces, improving functionality, and ensuring performance across platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in modern web technologies and a proactive attitude towards learning and development.
Contract Type: Outside IR35
Location: Fully Remote
Day Rate: £200 – £350 per day (DOE)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing (initial 3–6 months with potential extension)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and deploying user-friendly front-end interfaces.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of reusable front-end components.
- Support integration of front-end features with back-end systems and APIs.
- Participate in debugging, performance testing, and front-end optimisation.
- Work collaboratively with developers, designers, and product managers.
- Stay informed on evolving tools, frameworks, and front-end trends.
- Help document workflows, processes, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot UI/UX issues and suggest improvements.
Experience & Skills:
- Around 2 -3 year of experience in software or web development (commercial or freelance).
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript.
- A basic understanding of responsive design, UI/UX principles, and browser compatibility.
- Interest or exposure to modern frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular (training/mentorship available).
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team setting.
- Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
