About the Job

If you\’re passionate about the beauty industry and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment, we want you to be part of our dynamic Buying and Merchandising team at Next Beauty. You will be predominantly supporting our Bath & Body Works department. Your mission is clear: masterfully oversee the entire item lifecycle, from creation, ordering through to the item going live on the website, all while maintaining precision and timeliness. In addition, you will be responsible for resolving any data issues and assisting the wider team with day to day tasks across the department to ensure the smooth flow of product launches. If you want to put your inquisitive nature, exceptional teamwork and expert problem solving skills to good use, then this could be the perfect role for you.

You will be…

  • The guardian of the critical path, ensuring it is up-to-date and that stock is delivered, then launches in a timely manner
  • Updating and maintaining the Bath & Body Works product launch calendar
  • Responsible for all SKU raising and contract raising
  • Monitoring and updating intake trackers for Bath & Body Works
  • Tracking the status of new products vs their launch date and flagging any issues ahead of time
  • Building relationships with internal and external teams and be the ‘go to’ person for any queries around item setup or stock intake for Bath & Body Works
  • Setting up promotions and checking that they go live as planned; flagging any issues with the relevant teams to seek a resolution as quickly as possible
  • Assisting with warehouse and finance queries
  • Ordering labels for inbound stock
  • Regular site audits to ensure that all products are live and in the correct promotions
  • Working closely with the product teams and communicating any data that can not be resolved by with clear deadlines for completion
  • Responsible for sample management for marketing initiatives
  • Updating price changes when required
  • Supporting wider Buying and Merchandising teams on administrative tasks
  • Preparing comparative shops
  • Identifying trends and reviewing sales performance for Bath & Body Works

Your Talent…

  • You will ideally have experience working within Beauty Buying or Merchandising, but not essential
  • Extremely organised and adaptable
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • If there’s a problem, you’re the first person to find a solution
  • As well as working in a team you’re self-motivated, passionate and driven when it comes to working solo too
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Helpful and approachable with a positive outlook no matter what
  • Strong team ethos – working together and building excellent relationships with your team along with all other key partnerships
