WAVY-TV 10/ WVBT FOX43 is searching for a dynamic NEWS PRODUCER who wants to tell compelling stories, dominate breaking news and severe weather coverage, and promote the values of journalism on air, online and to social media and on streaming services.

We are looking for someone who has strong news judgment, is passionate about journalism, and has a proven ability to work within an award-winning team. This producer will be a major part of the station's online and streaming success by posting stories and other content on WAVY.com and possibly being involved in streaming content.

The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability and willingness to produce newscasts with creativity and flair; this includes writing clear, concise copy on deadline, working under pressure, and showcasing great video and emotional sound, and easy to understand graphics.

College degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years mainline news producing experience preferred. Overnights, nights and weekends may be required; candidate must be willing and able to work any and all shifts, including holidays.

COMPENSATION RANGE: Annual Salary $45,000 - $49,000 – commensurate with experience
