NexGroup connects traditional finance and digital assets through a fully integrated, regulated vertical capital markets stack. Unlike competitors who rent liquidity, venues, or distribution—a supply chain that involves significant costs which translates to pricing,we own and internalize all four capital market layers under a single cap table: issuer (NexBridge), market maker (NexMarkets), trading venue (NexPlace), and distribution (NexBridge Europe)
Our key differentiators embedded in our proprietary market mechanics and regulatory moat:
Zero-Fee Investor Product: Because we own the underlying layers, investors pay 0% asset, subscription, or redemption fees on our tokens with same day redemptions.
Regulatory Moat & Rapid Launch: Operating under a base prospectus (awaiting Liechtenstein FMA-approval) with EEA passporting across 30+ markets, we can bring new ISIN-coded products to market in as little as 5 days. Our product shelf spans over 700 eligible instruments, including equities, fixed income, and indices.
Proven Track Record: Our infrastructure is built and proven. In our version 1.0 operation, we issued $32 million in digital debt securities, with our USTBL product hitting its $30 million soft cap within 48 hours.
Institutional Privacy & Multi-Chain Registry: We operate a single supply registry across Bitcoin's Liquid Network and Avalanche, enabling native confidential transactions without relying on bridges or wrapped assets.
1:1 Daily Verified Backing: Every token represents a bankruptcy-remote debt note backed 1:1 by real-world collateral held at a US broker-dealer, verified daily by TNF, audited by RSM, and ring-fenced by our independent security agent Leeward.
Role
Lead the product direction and delivery priorities across NexGroup. You will translate customer needs and commercial goals into a coherent roadmap, with clear requirements and measurable outcomes. Work closely with the CTO to deliver usable products that fit the group's operational and control requirements.
Work with the CEO, COO, commercial teams, operations, design, engineering, risk and legal and compliance. Own product discovery, prioritisation and acceptance criteria; the CTO owns technical architecture and engineering execution. Agree launch readiness with the relevant business and control owners.
Scope
Product strategy
Define the users, problems and outcomes each product serves. Maintain a clear product proposition and roadmap across issuance, distribution, trading and supporting workflows, with explicit sequencing and business rationale.
Customer discovery
Work directly with customers, partners and internal users to understand needs and friction. Test assumptions through interviews, workflow observation, prototypes and product data before committing significant development effort.
Prioritisation
Own a transparent backlog and make recommendations based on customer value, commercial impact, risk and delivery effort. Resolve competing requests with leadership and explain what is committed, deferred or dependent on another decision.
Requirements
Translate product goals into clear user journeys, requirements and acceptance criteria. Capture permissions, data needs, operational exceptions and failure states alongside the expected behaviour; maintain traceability through delivery.
Design and usability
Guide coherent customer and operator experiences with design and frontend engineering. Make complex financial and digital-asset workflows understandable, including status, confirmation, error handling and accessibility.
Delivery and launch
Agree scope and milestones with the CTO, track dependencies and run product acceptance. Coordinate documentation, training, customer communication and support readiness; obtain the required legal, compliance and operational input before launch.
Measurement and improvement
Define meaningful product measures and responsible instrumentation. Review activation, task completion, adoption and user feedback; identify where outcomes fall short and prioritise improvements after release.
Product leadership
Establish a practical product operating rhythm and develop product and design capability. Maintain decision records, manage external design or research support and provide leadership with clear recommendations and delivery expectations.
First 90 days
First two weeks
Review the products, customer journeys and delivery backlog. Meet business and engineering owners and identify immediate customer, operational and launch risks.
By day 30
Deliver the product baseline, prioritised roadmap and agreed outcome measures. Establish discovery, requirements and prioritisation practices with the CTO.
By day 60
Validate the most important assumptions with users and deliver an agreed product improvement, with acceptance evidence and coordinated launch support.
By day 90
Review the first outcomes, refine priorities and present the next-quarter roadmap with dependencies, trade-offs and product resource requirements.
What we expect
Required capital markets expertise
Significant capital markets and financial instrument expertise, including substantial practical experience in fixed income, equities and equity derivatives. Strong understanding of instrument structures, pricing and valuation, market conventions, trading, lifecycle events and risk, and the ability to translate this knowledge into product requirements and customer workflows.
Essential experience
Experience owning a product roadmap and taking software from discovery through release and improvement. Strong customer research, prioritisation and requirements skills; ability to work closely with engineers and business leaders; and evidence of measuring user and commercial outcomes rather than delivery volume alone.
Desirable experience
Experience with financial services, investment platforms, digital assets or complex B2B products; onboarding, trading, issuance or settlement journeys; and products spanning several operating entities or markets.
Technical skills
Required technical literacy to discuss product choices, dependencies and acceptance criteria with the CTO and engineers. Understand the capabilities and constraints of the areas below; implementation ownership sits with engineering.
Cloud and delivery
Working knowledge of AWS, Azure and Cloudflare, and how Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions and CI/CD affect delivery, cost and resilience.
Architecture and integration
Understand microservices, domain-driven design (DDD), CQRS, event-driven architecture and distributed systems; discuss API requirements across REST, GraphQL and gRPC.
Frontend and mobile
Product fluency in TypeScript, React, Next.js, TanStack, Vite and Tailwind delivery environments; understand channel choices involving React Native, Expo and Flutter.
Data and messaging
Understand product implications of PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB and Kafka, including data quality, freshness, event processing and transaction state.
Testing and measurement
Define acceptance criteria and user journeys for Playwright or Cypress testing; use observability from OpenTelemetry, Grafana and Application Insights to prioritise improvements.
Security
Understand OAuth/OIDC, Entra ID, IAM, OWASP and Key Vault implications for customer access, permissions and sensitive workflows.
Engineering collaboration
Agile delivery, Git-based workflows, CI/CD, code review and architecture decision records (ADRs); awareness of SOLID and design patterns when discussing maintainability and trade-offs.
Working model
Maintain a regular product review with the CEO and COO and a joint planning rhythm with the CTO. Bring clear decisions, evidence and trade-offs to each review. Scope changes must be assessed for value, capacity and control impact before commitments are revised; required control approvals remain with their owners.
Success measures
- A roadmap understood by the business and engineering team; validated customer needs; clear acceptance criteria; releases that users can complete and operations can support; and measurable improvement in agreed adoption, task-completion or commercial outcomes.
