At Nexperia Manchester, we are strengthening our Semiconductor Integration Team with the addition of an Integration Engineer. In this role, you will be at the heart of innovation, working on the introduction of new platforms, products and technologies in the fab. What you will do
As an Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring product quality, yield and technology advancement across our high-volume semiconductor fabrication environment, helping shape the future of semiconductor manufacturing on site.
- Resolve high-profile fabrication incidents using structured problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma, 8D and KT to protect output and customer quality
- Plan, execute and analyse engineering trials across diffusion, assembly and life-test processes
- Develop robust process modules and produce clear, accurate process and project documentation
- Lead feasibility studies on new technology concepts and process changes, including experimental design, risk analysis, trial execution and constructional analysis
- Demonstrate expertise in key process engineering areas while maintaining strong all-round knowledge of fabrication flows
- Facilitate silicon qualifications to optimise yield, manufacturability and integration performance
- Support business-critical engineering activities across the organisation, applying your technical insight to drive continuous improvement

What you will need
Essential requirements:
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline such as Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Production Engineering (or related field)
- Experience as a Process or Integration Engineer within the semiconductor industry (or a comparable high-tech manufacturing environment), with a solid understanding of fab operations
- Understanding of semiconductor device principles and how electrical characteristics relate to wafer fabrication process variables
- Strong data analysis capability, including techniques used to identify root causes of yield and performance issues
- Ability to summarise and communicate complex technical findings clearly to engineering colleagues, enabling effective decision-making and corrective action
- Ability to work a rotating day-shift pattern (2x week A and 2x week B days)
Desirable experience:
- Understanding of electrical test principles used for TrenchMOS / Power MOSFET products
- Knowledge of silicon substrate and epitaxy requirements for high-performance, high-efficiency power semiconductor devices
