Job Description:
Nexperia is a global leader in essential semiconductors, aiming to reach a $10b turnover by 2030. We are expanding our Process Engineering team in the photolithography department by hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer. You will join a team responsible for supporting and maintaining factory processes in photolithography, ensuring the production of over 14,000 semiconductor wafers weekly.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing process engineering support within the manufacturing team of the Photolithography group
- Following departmental procedures and supporting shopfloor activities
- Communicating ongoing issues effectively across shifts
- Sustaining and improving mechanical and electrical yields to meet KPIs
- Completing project-based activities on schedule
- Supporting process development for new products and platforms
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as process engineering, equipment engineering, production, and quality
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Physics, Electronics, Chemistry, or related STEM field
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment, preferably in high-volume 24/7 operations within electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, automotive, or similar industries
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality control principles like FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Familiarity with statistical methods such as process capability analysis
- Proven experience in sustaining or improving manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and project management skills
- Excellent communication skills across organizational levels
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts with shift allowance
- Experience in the semiconductor industry preferred
