We are now expanding our team of Nights Production Assistants to work from 7pm to 7am on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. This is on a 6-month fixed term basis. In return, you will receive a salary of £36,766 (pro-rated, inclusive of shift allowance).

The hiring process:
- Initial telephone screen call
- Successful candidates to attend our assessment day (includes an overview of the role and Nexperia, some exercises and a short interview). It will be held on Wednesday 14th January with a short follow up for successful candidates with our Occupational Health team on Thursday 15th January
- Roles to commence from Monday 26th January onwards
What our Production Assistants do:
You will be part of a large team crucial in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices in a high-volume, high-tech wafer fabrication area. You will follow written instructions in operating sophisticated equipment in a clean room environment to produce our finished silicon microchips. Nexperia’s chips are used in everyday products such as mobile phones, home appliances, smart wearables, electric vehicles and more.
With full training you will:
- Work towards a daily primary task list with the support of your team leader
- Learn how to work with high tech equipment with tasks including producing a required volume of wafers per hour
- Adhere to production change proposals, whilst conforming to all cleanroom working & safety practices
- Complete related documentation and enter transactions on FactoryWorks systems

- Prior experience in working within a production or factory setting
- Prior cleanroom experience
- Mechanical or technical experience with machines or tools
Remuneration & Reward: Combined salary of £24,511 plus a 50% shift allowance equating to £36,766 (pro-rated) per annum, 24.5 days annual leave pro-rated + rostered days off and enrolment onto the Nexperia pension scheme at up to 9% employer contribution.
