Your work will directly support every operational area on site, helping us maintain compliance, protect our people and the environment, and build long‑term resilience in a fast‑moving, high‑tech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance & Legal Management: Ensure the site meets all UK environmental, health and safety legislation, permits, licences and corporate requirements; maintain and update legal compliance registers; carry out compliance assessments and coordinate actions to close any identified gaps; support regulatory inspections and liaise with enforcement authorities when required.
  • Environmental Permits & Emissions: Support the management of environmental permits and ensure all licence conditions are met; monitor compliance with environmental limits and reporting obligations; coordinate emissions monitoring programmes, including air emissions, wastewater, hazardous waste, GHG reporting and environmental KPIs; investigate environmental incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented and verified.
  • Chemical Compliance: Act as the site’s Local Chemical Compliance Officer; manage chemical inventory systems and ensure compliance with REACH, CLP, COSHH, COMAH and GHS requirements; maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) databases and keep chemical risk assessments accurate and up to date; support chemical approval processes and change management for new substances and materials.
