Nexperia UK is seeking a proactive and motivated HR Graduate to join our UK Semiconductor Manufacturing site based in Hazel Grove Stockport. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your HR career within a high‑tech, fast‑paced environment, supporting a site with 1000+ employees. Over a two‑year period this role is designed for you to gain full exposure to HR processes, employee lifecycle activities and cross‑functional projects, whilst becoming a vital part of a close‑knit, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in organising employee engagement activities on site.
  • Contribute to initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Work with the HR team to address employee queries and concerns.
  • Support initiatives around diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR metrics and reports for management.
  • Assist with compliance activities and support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to HR projects such as policy reviews, internal communications and culture initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, Law or Social Sciences.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Great IT skills including MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain professionalism.
  • Desire to complete a funded CIPD certification alongside work.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing role.
  • Experience using an HRIS system.
  • Understanding of basic HR processes (onboarding, ER, recruitment, payroll cycles, etc).

Eligibility & Contract Details

This 2‑year fixed‑term contract is open to UK based applicants where sponsorship cannot be offered.
