nexos have an opening for an HSE Advisor for a site based role in Sullom Voe Terminal. This role will be a 2 on/2 off rotation.
The HSE Advisor is responsible for promoting and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations on oil and gas operations. This role supports a safe working environment through proactive hazard identification, training, inspections, and incident management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation, company policies, and site-specific procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Support the implementation of HSE Management Systems.
- Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and job-specific training to staff and contractors.
- Participate in incident investigations; prepare reports and follow up on corrective actions.
- Ensure emergency response plans are in place, communicated, and tested regularly.
- Oversee environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions, and spill prevention.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, contractors, and stakeholders regarding HSE matters.
- Review and input into workpack HIRAβs.
Required Certification: Emergency First Aid, Confined Space Entry, NEBOSH, IOSH.
