The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

Accountable for executing process engineering activities and ensuring technical quality is maintained within budget and schedule under the supervision of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that assigned work is compliant to agreed budget and schedule.
  • Knowledge of process systems and declassification/decommissioning would be beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of Bluebeam is a must; experience of using R2S would also be beneficial.
  • Production of discipline deliverables and input to multi-discipline deliverables.
  • Maintaining project plan and providing progress updates for assigned scopes.
  • Maintaining project scope/schedule change(s) in accordance with project change control process (as required in conjunction with Lead or Principal Engineer).
  • Ensuring compliance to applicable/up to date standards, regulations, codes and procedures.
  • Estimate/schedule preparation & approval and electronic submission via digital eco-system (Slingshot).
  • Participating as design engineer in various engineering review meetings such as HAZIDs, HAZOPs, SIL Assessment, etc.
  • Providing technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Essential: Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering.
  • Working towards chartered engineer status.
  • Detailed Design experience.
  • Experienced in the use of applicable codes, practices, standards, and statutory documentation.
  • Competent in quality control and engineering procedures.
  • Competent in aspects of discipline design (including multi-discipline) and use of process simulation packages.
  • Desirable: Mandatory offshore certification (BOSIET, MIST, Medical, etc.)

Key Competencies:

  • Clear communication of ideas, objectives and goals to discipline and function personnel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, diligence and self-discipline.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Work Environment/Conditions:

  • Office: Determined by assigned project/contract.
  • Full-Time: 40-hours per week.
