Responsibilities are pipe fabrication and installation activities associated with a chemical plant construction project. The applicant shall be suitably qualified and experienced and shall hold all certifications, competencies and technical qualifications necessary for the role of Pipefitter. This shall include valid TMJI10 certification, together with any other relevant technical or safety certifications applicable to the role. The role will be focused on the delivery and completion of defined fabrication and installation activities in accordance with agreed project requirements.
The duties of a Pipefitter include, but shall not be limited to:
- Delivery of pipe fabrication and installation activities associated with the agreed scope of work in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and work packs.
- Application of pipefitting expertise to ensure fabricated and installed pipework is completed in accordance with applicable technical, quality and safety requirements.
- Delivery of Services in compliance with the site Control of Work (CoW) system and associated permit requirements insofar as necessary for safe execution of the Services.
- Completion and close-out of required task-related documentation associated with delivered pipefitting activities.
Must have experience of working on a COMAH site.
