The Construction Commissioning Interface Coordinator (MC Co-ordinator) is responsible for managing the interface between construction completion and commissioning readiness. This includes ensuring all subsystems are mechanically complete, tested, documented, and ready for safe handover to commissioning in compliance with CHOMS, project specifications, and client requirements. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to act as the Mechanical Completions Co-Ordinator. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless Handover from construction, maintaining quality and compliance throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify all discipline ITR-A sheets and red-line markups are complete and accurate.
  • Coordinate subsystem walkdowns with Construction, Commissioning, and Operations teams.
  • Align hydrotesting completion with commissioning readiness in coordination with the Hydro Test Lead.
  • Ensure all hydrotest packages and mechanical completion dossiers are signed, documented, and entered in CHOMS.
  • Provide regular updates to Site Management on system handover progress.
  • Act as focal point for cross-discipline interface resolution between construction and commissioning.

ITR (Inspection & Test Record) Completion:

  • Ensure all discipline ITR A sheets have been completed and fully signed up in alignment with CHOMS requirements handed into the Completions Management Team for uploading and recording in CHOMS.

Subsystem Walkdowns:

  • Plan, coordinate sub-system walkdowns with Construction, Operations and Commissioning Engineers to verify installation completeness and readiness for Handover to Commissioning.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Provide regular updates to site management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven understanding of Completions Management and experience in construction Mechanical Completions Handover on large-scale Oil & Gas projects.
  • Strong understanding of technical systems, drawings, and testing procedures.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in remote site conditions and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in the Shetland Isles or similar remote locations.
  • Knowledge of Completions Management System software/tools and document control systems.
  • Discipline trade or engineering qualifications with a broad-based knowledge of all disciplines.
