This is a broad, hands-on and impactful role ideal for an effective communicator who thrives on variety and visibility. As well as coordinating internal communications and events, you’ll be a key player in supporting business development, creating customer-facing content, and ensuring we show up professionally in every bid, meeting, and digital channel.
You’ll collaborate with technical teams, leadership, and external partners to create content that brings our capability to life and helps us win work. At the same time, you’ll ensure our people are informed, engaged, and connected—from the office to the offshore platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and prepare sales collateral through supporting marketing campaigns and customer presentations.
- Assist with sales pipelining by helping track progress.
- Support the Bids and Proposals team with content for submissions.
- Develop content and visuals for LinkedIn and other social media platforms to reflect our work, culture, and achievements.
- Support business development efforts by coordinating all customer engagement events such as exhibitions and conferences, awards, and entertainment.
- Coordinate digital assets, including video content and photography for promotional use.
- Maintain and update multiple websites (e.g., Nexos, Torus, OSL) with fresh content and job postings.
- Manage third-party accounts such as membership platforms (e.g., OEUK, CATCH, Future Humber) and creative agencies (e.g., PR consultants, audio & visual agencies).
- Plan, write, and publish internal news stories across Nexos SharePoint and Clevertouch office displays.
- Manage and maintain the company’s SharePoint intranet, ensuring it is current, engaging, and user-friendly.
- Support internal campaigns such as Special Thanks & Recognition (ST*R) awards, Long Service Awards, and Employee Referral Programmes.
- Manage the "Contact Us" inbox and route enquiries appropriately.
- A background in communications, marketing, business development or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Comfortable using SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and digital communication platforms.
- Experience with social media content creation, particularly LinkedIn.
- Knowledge of basic graphic design and photography desirable.
- Experience with platforms such as Clevertouch, Basecamp, or Fusion is a plus.
- Enthusiastic, creative, and detail-oriented.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A natural communicator who enjoys building relationships across the business.
- Able to juggle multiple priorities with a calm, positive approach.
