Job Purpose:

This role would be ideal for a recent Graduate or at the early stage in their career. Mentorship will be available and it offers great development opportunities.

Be an integral part of the company’s HVAC department in assisting with the development, execution and completion of projects, whilst ensuring that deliverables for each scope is undertaken safely, within budget and on time through the supervision of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the production and completion of discipline deliverables and input to multi-discipline deliverables including but not limited to; work packs, specifications, datasheets, drawing layouts, calculations, and technical reports.
  • With guidance from supervising engineer, ensuring that assigned work is compliant to agreed budget and schedule.
  • Maintaining project plan and providing progress updates for assigned scopes to supervising engineer.
  • Ensuring compliance to applicable/up to date standards, regulations, codes and procedures.
  • With support from supervising engineer participating in various engineering review meetings.
  • Participate in the interface with discipline engineers to ensure integration with mechanical, electrical, structural, and process systems.
  • Support in the coordination of engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle including engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Assist in the review of vendor documentation, drawings, and technical submittals.
  • Promote safe working practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Essential:
  • Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Desirable:
  • Offshore mandatory certification (BOSIET, MIST, Medical, etc.)

Key Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, diligence and self-discipline.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Work Environment/Conditions:

  • Aberdeen office based (hybrid working subject to agreement with line manager).
  • Potential for occasional offshore travel once competency and training are undertaken.
  • Full-Time: 37.5-hours per week.
