The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

The Instrument Technician shall work on scopes relating to the installation, modification, testing, calibration, inspection and verification of instrumentation systems and associated equipment. Completion of the role shall be achieved through the application of specialist technical knowledge and experience in accordance with applicable client requirements, recognised industry standards and project specifications.

Activities may include, but shall not be limited to:

  • Installation and modification of field instrumentation and associated equipment in accordance with issued drawings, specifications and work packs.
  • Calibration, loop checking and functional testing of instrumentation systems and associated devices.
  • Inspection and verification of completed instrumentation installations against applicable technical and quality requirements.
  • Review and interpretation of relevant technical documentation including P&IDs, loop drawings, instrument indexes, instrument data sheets and associated technical information.
  • Identification and resolution of technical issues, defects and non-conformances associated with instrumentation activities.
  • Verification of instrumentation systems and associated interfaces to confirm compliance with the defined scope and technical requirements.
  • Completion and compilation of inspection, testing, certification and quality documentation associated with the completed Services.
  • Provision of technical input required to support completion of agreed project deliverables.
