Are you an experienced HVAC & Refrigeration Technician looking for a rewarding opportunity with the potential to work offshore and overseas? Nexos is hiring, and we’d love to hear from you!
Location: Aberdeen and surrounding areas (with prospects to work offshore and internationally after completing relevant training).
As an integral part of our team, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration equipment across supply vessels, commercial buildings, and hospitality venues.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Diagnosing faults and repairing ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems, including pipework.
- Installing HVAC and refrigeration equipment and pipework.
- Commissioning and servicing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Interpreting electrical drawings, P&ID diagrams, flowcharts, and general arrangement drawings.
- Communicating effectively with both colleagues and clients to maintain high standards of service.
- Delivering excellent customer service and fostering strong client relationships.
- Preparing comprehensive reports (you should have basic Microsoft skills for the usage of service engineer tablets).
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience in HVAC & Refrigeration.
- Qualifications: City & Guilds F-Gas 2079 and SVQ Level 2 & 3 in HVAC & Refrigeration.
- Preferred (but not essential): Valid BOSIET, MIST, and OGUK medical certification.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- A full UK driving licence (a service van is included with the contract offer).
