Job Purpose: Deliver high volume recruitment and mobilisation of competent, compliant trades personnel for onshore and offshore projects. Ensure a positive candidate and stakeholder experience while meeting project, client, and statutory requirements. This role will be based in either Hull or Sheffield area.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment Delivery: Manage full lifecycle recruitment for site-based trades from requisition to mobilisation. Deliver high-volume campaigns aligned to project timelines. Submit shortlisted candidates promptly to hiring managers and clients. Engage regularly with stakeholders to provide informed recruitment advice.
- Candidate Sourcing & Engagement: Source candidates via internal databases, job boards, referrals, and agencies with commercial awareness. Maintain active pipelines to respond quickly to business needs. Engage passive candidates to support future workforce demand.
- Screening & Selection: Conduct CV and competency screening against trade and industry requirements. Verify qualifications and certifications (e.g., NVQ, OPITO, CompEx, IRATA). Carry out screening interviews and suitability assessments aligned to project needs. Support hiring managers to deliver a consistent recruitment and onboarding experience.
- Compliance & Certification Management: Ensure candidates meet project and client compliance standards. Validate trade certifications, safety training (BOSIET, MIST, CCNSG, HAZOP), and right-to-work documentation. Maintain accurate compliance records.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with hiring managers, project teams, and clients. Maintain accurate data for reporting on pipelines, progress, and market conditions. Advise on availability, sourcing options, and commercial considerations for trades.
- Mobilisation & Logistics: Coordinate onboarding experience. Liaise with logistics and site teams to deploy competent personnel on time. Ensure all pre-mobilisation documentation is completed accurately.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Track market trends, candidate availability, and rate expectations across trades. Maintain accurate recruitment systems and trackers. Produce reports on recruitment metrics and fulfilment performance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting site-based trades in workshop, power, construction, or energy sectors.
- Knowledge of pipefitting, rigging, electrical, instrumentation, or materials control.
- Strong understanding of certification and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to build trade pipelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- High attention to detail and self-discipline.
- Familiarity with IR35 considerations.
