nexos are looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join our Aberdeen based team on a permanent basis .

This opportunity will enable you provide dedicated support to the Project Management Group and specific projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture. This role involves developing Quality and HSE plans in collaboration with clients, preparing safety interface documents, organizing ENVID/HAZID events, conducting contractor QHSE evaluations, performing job site audits and inspections, and investigating incidents. You will also be responsible for delivering HSE performance reports to project management and clients as required.

As part of your responsibilities, you will plan and implement process assurance activities such as audits, spot checks, and document reviews, reporting findings to the Contract Manager. You will monitor work planning activities, evaluate compliance with project risk assessments and contingency plans, and proactively intervene when issues arise. Additionally, you will participate in project risk reviews and ensure critical processes for onshore resource preparation and mobilization, including personnel selection, briefing, equipment maintenance, certification, and management of change, are effectively followed.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Essential:
  • Proven ability in working on client projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proven experience in Oil and Gas Operations, projects, and turnarounds
  • Desirable:
  • Formal qualifications in health and safety management.
  • Mandatory offshore certification (BOSIET, MIST, Medical, etc.)
