Job Description

Job Purpose:

Providing HSE support to the Project Management Group and for specific projects. May require the development of Quality and HSE plans with clients, safety interface documents, organizing ENVID/HAZID events, performing contractor QHSE evaluations, making job site audits and inspection and investigating incidents. Providing HSE performance reports to project management and client as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementing process assurance activities (audits, spot checks, and document reviews) for assigned project and reporting the results to the Contract Manager.
  • Monitoring work planning activities and evaluating compliance with requirements (project risk assessment and contingency plans, contractors work programmes, etc.). Proactively intervening and reporting any issues identified.
  • Participating in project risk reviews when required.
  • Monitoring compliance with critical processes for onshore resource preparation and mobilisation (personnel selection, briefing and equipment preparation – maintenance and certification, management of change, etc.). Proactively intervening and reporting any issues identified.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Essential:
  • Proven ability in working on client projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proven experience in Oil and Gas Operations, projects, and turnarounds
  • Desirable:
  • Formal qualifications in health and safety management.
  • Mandatory offshore certification (BOSIET, MIST, Medical, etc.)

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Work Environment/Conditions:

  • Office: St Magnus House, Aberdeen. Will require travel to other Aberdeen locations to support business operations. May require offshore travel to client assets.
  • Full-Time: 37.5-hours per week.
