Site Labourer/General Assistant duties associated with a chemical plant construction project. This may include, but shall not be limited to, the following activities, as applicable to the agreed scope of work:
- Provision of fire watch activities in connection with authorised hot work operations, including monitoring of designated areas and completion of associated compliance records.
- Provision of transport and movement activities relating to personnel, tools and materials between specified site locations in accordance with agreed work requirements.
- Establishment of work areas, including installation of barriers, signage, temporary access routes and other defined site controls in accordance with issued work packs and applicable site requirements.
- Execution of worksite clearance, housekeeping and waste segregation activities necessary to maintain safe and compliant working environments within the agreed scope of work.
- Operation of MEWPs, forklifts, telehandlers and other agreed plant and equipment, where appropriately authorised and competent to do so, to facilitate movement and positioning of materials and assets associated with the relevant work package.
- Preparation of work locations through positioning of materials, staging of equipment and establishment of safe access and egress routes in accordance with applicable task documentation.
- Provision of defined logistical activities including manual handling, staging, loading and unloading necessary to facilitate completion of the agreed Services.
Must have experience of working on a COMAH site.
