The predicted salary is between 18000 - 25000 £ per year.

To provide Electrical Technician services to support a chemical plant construction project. This will include the execution and completion of agreed electrical installation and testing deliverables in accordance with approved work packs, drawings, and project documentation, and in compliance with applicable client specifications, statutory requirements, and recognised industry standards, including BS EN 60079.

The Electrical Technician shall be responsible for delivering the Services using their own professional skill, experience, and technical judgement, and shall determine the manner in which the work is carried out, provided the agreed deliverables meet the required scope, quality standards, and safety requirements. The Electrical Technician shall be suitably qualified and experienced and shall hold all certifications, competencies and technical qualifications necessary to perform the Services, including valid CompEx 01-04 certification and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.

Duties for the Electrical Technician shall include, as per the allocated work packages:

  • Completion of allocated electrical installation packages in accordance with issued work packs and associated documentation.
  • Installation, inspection, testing, and verification of electrical, control, and instrumentation equipment in line with approved drawings and project requirements.
  • Installation of cable containment systems in accordance with project design and construction standards.
  • Completion of cable glanding, termination, inspection, and testing activities to demonstrate compliance with BS EN 60079 and project specifications.
  • Verification of installation accuracy against issued drawings, interconnection diagrams, and loop diagrams to confirm design intent and system integrity.
  • Compilation and submission of as-built documentation, inspection and test records, and completion evidence required to support commissioning, handover, and close-out activities.

Must have experience of working on a COMAH Site.
