The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Be an integral part of the company’s HVAC department supporting the development, execution and completion of projects, whilst ensuring that deliverables for each scope is delivered safely, within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, develop, and manage HVAC engineering deliverables including but not limited to; work packs, specifications, datasheets, drawing layouts, calculations, and technical reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g. ISO, DNV, CIBSE, DW and company specifications).
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, constructability, and operability studies.
  • Interface with discipline engineers to ensure integration with mechanical, electrical, structural, and process systems.
  • Coordinate HVAC activities throughout the project lifecycle including engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, and commissioning.
  • Monitor contractor / vendor performance to ensure quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met.
  • Review and approve vendor documentation, drawings, and technical submittals.
  • Provide technical support during offshore installation, hook-up, and commissioning phases.
  • Prepare technical requisitions and bid evaluations for HVAC equipment and packages.
  • Liaise with suppliers and contractors to resolve technical issues, ensure compliance with project requirements and deliverables are provided in the time constraints of the project.
  • Support expediting and inspection activities as required.
  • Support site teams during fabrication, offshore installation, and commissioning activities.
  • Participate in system walkdowns, punch listing, and final acceptance.
  • Ensure HVR systems are fully operational, reliable, and safe for offshore use.
  • Ensure all HVAC activities comply with company HSE policies and offshore safety regulations.
  • Promote safe working practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure documentation is completed and handed over in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to complete offshore HVAC surveys and ensure all necessary information can be collected, documented and reported back to the client.
  • Chairing meetings internally and closely monitoring progress on scope deadlines.
  • Providing regular updates to client and senior management.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC systems within the offshore oil & gas or marine environments.
  • HND or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or building services.
  • Mandatory valid offshore certification (BOSIET, MIST, medical, etc.).
  • Proven experience in execution of work scopes within the offshore and marine HVAC industry.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and documentation control processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and report-writing abilities.
  • Degree qualified in mechanical engineering or building services.
  • Experience in HVAC and refrigeration system design.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to undertake several projects concurrently ensuring each work scopes deadline and client needs are met.
  • Has a strong understanding relating to the constructability of HVAC systems.
  • Problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to multi-task and work to agreed schedules.
Work Environment/Conditions:
  • Office based (Mon-Fri) with occasional offshore travel.
  • Full-Time: 37.5-hours per week.
