Job Description
Job Purpose:
Supporting the HR Business Partner to deliver a proactive focus on employees relations and case management for the Sullom Voe Terminal. All tasks and administrative aspects of HR are delivered on time to support successful delivery of people related project strategy. Acting as a key focal point, along with the HR Partner, engaging with all workers and responding to queries within agreed timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building robust relationships with workers at all levels of the team
- Being focal point for queries and engaging with the team to know and understand challenges as they arise and to pre-empt them before they occur
- Proactively and reactively responding to engagement requirements in a positive problem-solving manner which builds trust and engagement
- Coordinating and issuing employment related documentation as required in a timely manner and engaging with the commercial contracts team where required to support PSC queries
- Liaising with the People admin team to ensure the timely maintenance and updating of records and ensuring provision of accurate payroll notifications.
- Leading case management such as grievance, disciplinary, absence, redundancy through an approach which maximises engagement and communication whilst retaining key talent
- Ensuring and advising operations on legal compliance in all aspects of the role
- Producing reports on general HR activity β absence levels, turnover, etc.
- Scheduling meetings, events, interviews, etc.
- Managing and executing the exit process.
- Supporting delivery of various HR projects and initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Essential:
- Bachelorβs degree or combination of relevant practical experience and education.
- Current or studying towards CIPD qualification.
- Previous role related experience in a relevant fast paced, high volume industry.
- Highly developed and demonstrated customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Requires computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

- Confidentiality, and an ability to exercise discretion.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision whilst manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Work Environment/Conditions:
- Office: Corporate headquarters, Albyn Place. May be required to attend other Aberdeen facilities to support business operations.
- Regularly overnight site visits as required, 1 β 2 per month based on operational demands
- Full-Time: 37.5-hours per week.
