Nexor are seeking a highly organised and adaptable Bid Writer to support the development of high-quality tender submissions, proposals, and framework responses across public and private sector opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing compelling, compliant, and persuasive bid responses, whilst working closely with subject matter experts, delivery teams, and leadership stakeholders. The role requires strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Bid & Proposal Development
- Assist the Bid Manager with the preparation of bids, tenders, PQQs, ITTs, and framework submissions.
- Draft clear, concise, and compelling responses tailored to client requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Interpret tender documentation and identify compliance requirements, risks, and win themes.
- Develop response structures, storyboards, and content plans aligned to scoring methodologies.
- Ensure submissions are completed to a high professional standard and meet deadlines.
- Support Sales and Business Development proposals.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Work with technical leads, architects, consultants, and delivery teams to gather bid input and develop responses.
- Facilitate bid review sessions and manage contribution deadlines.
- Coordinate approval processes and maintain version control across documents.
- Content & Knowledge Management
- Maintain and improve bid libraries, case studies, CVs, and reusable proposal content.
- Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement of bid processes.
- Strategic Support
- Support opportunity qualification and bid/no-bid decision processes.
- Contribute to proposal strategy, value propositions, and differentiators.
- Assist Sales, Business Development, and Marketing departments as required.
