A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join a long established and highly successful Fleet based business who are a market leader in their specialist field. This role has a genuine and quick pathway to Operations Director within 1-2 years and you will be responsible for overseeing 4 separate divisions within the business; Finance, Parts, Scheduling and also Sales and Marketing. My client operates within a very niche market and are the largest independent supplier of clean air and containment services in the UK and Ireland. They also support clients as far afield as Asia and the Middle East. You are not expected to have experience in the same industry/sector in which they operate.
An extremely friendly and fun working environment, fully office based Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
The ideal candidate:
- Commercially astute, decisive, personable with strong communication skills.
- 3-5 years in a similar management level role.
- Ideally from the Engineering industry but not essential.
- An understanding of IT Systems and Processes.
- Some experience around Quality Assurance specifically ISO9001.
- Any exposure to working within a Sales Environment is advantageous.
