An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Estimator working for a highly successful, family run business who are a market leader in the office fit out and refurbishment space. Working full time in their impressive newly refurbished offices as well visits to projects on an ongoing basis. You will be working with the contracts team to estimate the costs of projects and provide accurate and well thought out client proposals. You should have experience of working within a similar role within the construction industry The key tasks for the Estimator include; TENDERS – Estimate, take off and prepare tender document submission to client – Prepare and submit tender packages to sub contractors/suppliers – Produce project cost schedules and update daily for maximum profitability – Liaise with Finance Manager on supplier/subcontract payment terms QUOTATIONS/ORDERS – Review and Analyse Sub Contractor/Supplier returned quotations – Work with contracts team to obtain best supplier quotations – Chase quotations and keep record of all ongoing valuations VARIATIONS – Liaise with contracts team on variation to projects – Price and record variation orders – Submission of variations to clients – Update, forecast and input project analysis cost sheets on daily basis COMPANY BENEFITS – PENSION – COMPANY EVENTS – BIRTHDAY OFF For more details and information on the Estimator role please Email
