The Role
The Regional Service Manager will be responsible for leading a team of field engineers and technicians, ensuring high standards of service delivery, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This position is well-suited for someone from a field engineering background or similar technical role within the security, automotive, or electrical maintenance sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and service delivery across the assigned region
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of field-based engineers/technicians
- Monitor performance against KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct site visits, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle client escalations and maintain strong working relationships
- Report on regional service metrics and contribute to strategic planning
- Optimise workforce scheduling and job allocation
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a service management or field engineering leadership role
- Background in security systems, automotive services, electrical maintenance, or a related industry
- Strong technical acumen and ability to support field operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and enforce service standards
- Full UK driving licence (or applicable regional equivalent)
Desirable
- Working knowledge of Timespace DVRs, Streamax, Robustel routers, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of compliance and industry-specific regulations
