Are you a skilled Fire and Security professional with an eye for detail and a passion for safety? We’re looking for a Fire and Security Surveyor to join our partners dynamic team and play a crucial role in protecting people and property.
Role Overview:
As a Fire and Security Surveyor, you’ll be responsible for conducting site surveys, identifying risks, specifying appropriate fire and security systems, and ensuring compliance with current regulations and standards. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and project managers to deliver effective and compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed surveys of commercial and residential sites for fire detection, alarm, suppression, access control, CCTV, and intruder systems
- Produce clear, accurate reports and system designs/specifications
- Advise clients on compliance
- Prepare quotations and support bid/tender processes
- Liaise with engineering and project teams for smooth delivery of solutions
- Keep up-to-date with technological advancements and legislation changes
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in fire and security systems surveying or design
- Experience in an Engineering role looking to step into a Surveyor type role is also desirable
- Strong knowledge of fire and security standards and legislation
- FIA qualifications or equivalent (desirable)
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge
- Full UK driving licence
